The Future of AI & the Health Sciences Summit on August 26, 2024, was jointly hosted by the Washington State Department of Health and the University of Washington’s six health sciences schools.
The Future of AI & Health Sciences Summit aimed to convene professionals across academia, public health practice, and the private sector. This one-day event will included keynote speakers, panel discussions, and opportunities to engage and connect around several key themes, including:
• Practical applications of AI in public health.
• Research around AI to improve the health of the public.
• Equity and ethical considerations of AI in the health sciences.
