Bmw F30 Wheels Upgrade from 16 To 19 Inch

Replacing 16" stock alloy bmw 306 style whells with bmw 442 m style 19" wheels. Wheels fits perfect on car, in wheel calculator it is small percentage of difference, under 2%.
Car looks like another one, fresh and more beauty than on ugly and small 16" wheels. Why 442 style? Because that one of the best alloy wheel that bmw produce so far, amazing style and amazing looking every detail on them.
306 style wheels have dimensions 205/60/16
442 stlye wheels have dimensions 255/35/19 rear ones, and 225/40/19 front
If you afraid that replacing to this big wheels will cost your driving comfort and pleasure, thats not true at all. Even on runflat wheels car is confort like before and handles great, same like before on 16" wheels

The cost per tire really ramps up when. You go 18 or 19. I'm happy with the 16s sprayed black very comfy ride also

Switched from 16 to 18 on my e87, looks 200% +, ride comfort 200% - 😄 if you don't have good quality roads or comfort suspension on your bmw would not do it

I have seen some 405m after market wheels. I have the efficient dynamics model on 16 inch. Can i go from them to 19inch after market alloys? I hear it can damage my suspension? Any thoughts?

I have them too, as stock rims on my M Sport 4 series. They look awesome and wouldn't change them for anything

Did you experience any Drivetrain error after the switch to 19”?
I switched to a 235/35r19
265/30r19
and the drivetrain error appeared. Not sure if it was due to the switch.

What impact did it have on your fuel consumption? I went from 17 to 19 inch. I am using about 1-1.5L extra fuel per 100km

What tire pressure did you set front and rear ? I bought this same setup from Craigslist and got a set of tires as well with wider tires in the rear . My car had a weird steering wobble on the freeway and just generally an uncomfortable ride . Going to try getting a rebalance on all 4 tires but looking for your feedback since you have the same set up

What size are your tires? I’m looking at a set of 19”s and I was told that 225 40 r19 would be good for those. Not wanting super low profile tires.
