Using I isn’t always proper. Sorry.

In today’s lesson, we’re diving into the common confusion between “me” and “I.” My students were floored when they learned that “me” should follow a preposition, not “I.” Many of them believed that using “I” sounded more formal and proper, but that’s not always the correct choice! For people who don’t understand:
The reason the sentence should have person and me is because if you take away the other person and simply say I, it doesn’t sound right.
Ex: Morgan played on the slide with Sasha and I. (Say it with out Sasha) - Morgan played on the slide with I. Or. Morgan played on the slide with me.
See the difference?

this video!!!! the entire world needs to know this i have been trying to teach EVERYONE I know this for YEARS! They also do this with the word "myself" they are SO afraid of the word "me". and its because of frequently using "me" where "I" should go, as kids. so people just swore off the word "me" and will do all the mental gymnastics to avoid the word. I cant stand it!

Ms. James, you know if you want to lead people to the full video, the way to do that is to upload the long video first, then upload the short and you can tell the short to link to the full video so people can click it within the short. People are lazy and you know that lol. So it is near impossible to get them to go to the full video. This option is only avaialbloe if you upload from a PC, so that might be why you havent used this. but I STROINGLY suggest you try this going forward.

If you can replace it with “We” it is “Sean and I”. If you can replace it with “Us” it is “Sean and me”.
