Why J.Lo Chose Ben Affleck Wedding Anniversary to File for Divorce (Source)

A source tells ET, Jennifer Lopez filed divorce papers on Aug. 20 for a 'symbolic' reason: it was the two-year anniversary of her and Ben Affleck's nuptials in Georgia. Our source says it was Jennifer's way of 'closing this chapter,' adding, 'The last few months have been a roller-coaster of emotions, but she is taking the steps she needs in order to take care of herself.'

Seeing her doc and seeing Ben's reaction to her putting their love letters out there for everyone to see. That was the biggest red flag I saw. She doesn't know how to keep something that sacred private. He wants privacy for the sacred stuff, but she doesn't. She's in love with the spotlight. Marry yourself, girl!

Ben said he didn’t want to have a relationship on social media so she goes and makes a whole documentary about their love life. It even included love letters he wrote to her. She had to know he would be uncomfortable with that being public. Nobody knows what happened behind closed doors but that documentary had to one of the reasons the marriage didn’t work out.

I think Jennifer should go with the Jennifer Aniston-route and stay single forever.
Marriage ain't for everyone. That's why some rather stay single and/or never have kids. Freedom is beautiful.
