Even if they are dividing things amicably, prenups are super important. The comment about “equal financial standing/integrity” is BS and means nothing when you are divorced. Bottom line is you don’t know how someone is going to behave or treat you when they don’t love you anymore and prenups makes it so you don’t have to worry about that. Good for them if they’re one of the few couples that are actually splitting things truthfully and amicably.
