DJ is essentially getting a 3 year 112 mil deal which is 37.5 aav. Its very team friendly and they can get out after 2 years with limited damage whatsoever.

People who are vehemently opposed to this deal know nothing about NFL contracts. This is a deal, it's the best case scenario for both parties, and it's all about the guaranteed money which is only like $82M. Giants can get out after 2 years if things go south, but if DJ lights it up, this deal will be CHEAP in a couple years. Not to mention, if they franchise tagged him and he lit it up, they're paying him MORE than 40/year next year with MORE guaranteed. The deal is perfect, and if you don't see it, you need to study up.
