What's going on with Altra lately. Your loyal following out there are complaining your foot shape toe box is disappearing on your newer models. I noticed it a little bit on the Escalante 2.5 but barely noticeable and not a problem. It could of used a extra lace hole for a runners knot. A must for all running shoes. So relieved it's not the 2.0 and more like the original. What sets Altra apart from the competition is the 0 stack hieght and the wide toe box. Both of these together make the shoe feel more natural. If you make the toe box more restrictive, I'm afraid your going to lose alot of customers to Topo. Just like the complaints on the Escalante 2.0 you listened. Perhaps you need to do the same with the complaints out there in regards to the toe box and putting a extra lace hole for the runners knot in all your models.
