This is Ecclesiastical Latin, though. It was not spoken in Ancient Rome, especially not in the times of Crassus.

That is likely a later "Vulgar" (Common) Latin pronunciation than the classical authors and leaders used. I'm unclear on when the sound changes occurred that we think of as normal today, w to v, y to j, soft c and g from hard c and g, and so on. Listening again to see if I can pick up the gist of the passage.

The accent is awful. The speaker is reading the text using the rules of pronunciation of English, Polish and Spanish. The text is not even originally a Latin text but a translation from probably Polish or English written for the TV series “The Destiny of Rome”. That’s not the sound of Latin but the sound of Latin spoken by a Polish who can’t speak Latin.
