I once read somewhere that, "k-pop is basically north korea hidden in glamour, beauty and glitz" and that's so true.

I remembered that time Momo admitted herself that before she could even pass the audition for Sixteen, she had to loose weight which leaded her to eating ice cube only.

I don't even watch or listen to k-pop, but i highly respect them for their dedication 👏

I tried telling stans about this once and showing them footage of their idols collapsing or fainting during shows because of this abusive training, and it felt like that meme with the dude talking to the wall because even when they didn't had any excuses left they still kept making shittier and way shittier excuses to defend the industries, even tho they treat the idols as gods they defended the industries more than the idols which is so fucking amazingly funny

"Atleast respect them and remember they are human too"
Thank you for saying this, sadly not all people do that :')

Agon worded it perfectly. "At least respect them and remember they are human too" something most ppl don't do unfortunately.

People make fun of me for being obsessed with kpop. You saying “at least respect them. They are still normal people” really made me happy

Me as a K-Pop stan can confirm this. I feel like there's companies that go easy on their idols and some that don't, but at the same time, Idols might be treated better than groupmates.

There was a rumour going around that Irene (Red Velvet) was only treated better by the company because she knew a lot more about the company, including all the dark things that happen behind the scenes. I personally think that this is unfair to a large scale.

Another sad thing to point out is that even after their tremendous amount of effort that they put into training, if they debut, they're not even guaranteed fame or success, and some may not even debut. I hope that our idols know how much we appreciate their work and sacrifices <3

As a person who's been a kpop stan for 7 years now, I've seen a little of idols suffer and even died from all the pressure they went through.

Sad but true, that’s why I promised myself to never hate on any Kpop group or idol, because based on what I’ve seen and heard so far, it’s not easy being a Kpop idol. There’s a lot of things that happen behind the scenes that we don’t know about.

This video needs more views.

Kpop is mostly known as bright colours, expensive MVs and amazing, fun performances. But there is a very dark and harsh truth behind everything...

I knew this all and that’s why my respect for them is mad high
