I don't understand why Rihanna felt the need to do this to increase anticipation of her album when 'ANTI' has been anticipated for almost two years now. Seriously gurl, the people are here, your fans haven't abandoned you, when you release it it will make all the headlines, it will be hugely successful. My tips for ANTi's success:
- If you're not planning to release the album today, release a single to build hype! Make sure that the single is gonna be memorable and catchy!
- If you're planning to release it on TIDAL, DON'T!! Your first week sales will be ruined! Release 30 sec preview of each song instead (in TIDAL because I think you really wanna help it grow. That's good, but don't ruin your career! )
- Post this videos (Anti Diary etc..) on your VEVO channel because only loyal fans knows this channel, it means only loyal fans will know "ANTI" album.
- Post more in social media because it's the BEST way to advertise for FREE this days. Bieber posted a lot about his album so everyone knew about it and it went #1.
