Thank you for your video I used it to change the door lock on my 02 TB. I also purchased the door lock from 1A because of the video you spent time helping us all.

Excellent video! Just replaced my drivers door lock assembly on my 2008 Trailblazer SS that was having intermittent door ajar / dome light on issues and installation was a breeze. Thanks!

If the door lock actuator fails or starts to fail, when you hit the switch it may make a noise and kind of wiggle but may not move up or down. That's typically what happens to them when they go bad. It sounds like the latch could be bad in this case. If should hold the door shut. Hope this helps you out. Have a great day! 1aauto.com 888-844-3393

Hi! I’ve been a customer before and I don’t see door latch a door latch assembly for a 2004 blazer? I can’t even find it on any other auto parts sites. Are these not being made anymore??

Looking for one for a 2005 gmc sierra. For the actuator/cyclinder replace. Someone shoved a screw driver into the key lock. So we replaced the cylinder, but when you put the key in, there is no resistance at all. You turn any way and it doesnt lock/unlock. But it works with the key fob.

Any ideas?

The part shown in the video isn't the part listed in the link. The one in the video has 3 pulgs and the linked version only has 2. My trailblazer is the 3 plug version, do you have a link to that one?

Great video. when in the 06 Trailblazer, and the radio is on, if you open the Drivers side front door, the radio does not shut off. But opening the passengers front, the radio turns off. I’m thinking it’s the door lock actuator. Any Ideas? Thanks

@superskunk311 You may want to have the dealer run your VIN # on the truck for you to see if your Chevy Trailblazer takes a different size.

i have a 2005 trailblazer ls. i got my key stuck in the car and while i was usuing a slim jim to get it unlocked, i heard something snap and now when i put my key in the door to unlock it, i wont lock or unlock. its like there is no resistance to the turning of the key. is this the door lock actuator? or something else?

I came home today and when I let my dog out the driver rear door, it wouldn't shut again. I made sure the latch wasn't stuck, but even with it opened, the door will not close. The latch and striker seem to line up perfect. The latch does not seem to lock in either a open or locked position. Would this be an indication I need a new latch assembly? Possible a spring broke or something? I am having a hard time finding a driver side rear latch assembly for a 2004 Envoy xl. The actual lock actuator seems to be functional still.

when unlocking and locking the car with a key, does it use the door lock actuator? cause I am unable to unlock my door with my key.
