i sang this my junior year in highschool. page 8 and 9 was emotional for the whole choir and getting to sing as loud as we could made us able to show the true emotion of the peace. we also got a standing ovation after words. never been more proud of peace we performed

Joseph Martin conducted our community choir when we performed this. Loved that concert.

I sang this in my high school choir and it still lives in my head rent free over 10 years later. Ah well. It's a good one to remember.

Soli Deo Gloria phrase is one of the most triumphant phrases I’ve heard in choral music.

I felt this song should be used in the movie soundtrack. I remembered at high school we sang this in the choir. I graduated and I still memorize this piece.

Beautiful. I sang this years ago when in high school choir, it gave me chills whenever we performed it, and I’m in tears now listening and remembering the first moment I felt and heard the message and beauty of this song back then. One of my favorite pieces we sang and I’m so glad this recording exists with full orchestra - thank you!

My choir teacher sang this in his all state choir and he told us this was when he decided he wanted to be a choir teacher. We sang it every year at our spring concert and I cried every time. When he moved away for a new adventure, we surprised him at his going away party and sang this. Just randomly decided to search this up tonight and remembered all of it. So powerful. I miss being in a choir! ❤

This song in the TTBB arrangement is still my favorite piece I have ever performed. 20+ years and it still gives me goosebumps.

Listening and reading along brings back memories of 7th-9th grade choir. My choir teacher had students come in to sing and record all six parts, recorded a choir performance and handed out cd copies for us to have and practice along with. The choir on the cd had some sopranos go from B5 to E6 while the choir holds the last note…till this day I can’t find my cd or the name of that choir
