I hope you enjoy the video even if I couldn't get either of my assistants to be in the video (and I tried!). Charlotte: Why are you so quiet today? Cat got your tongue?
Oliver: Actually, my cat did get my tongue. I was trying to give him a kiss, and he licked my face so much that I can't talk properly!
Charlotte: That's hilarious! I guess we'll have to wait until your tongue comes back from your furry friend's cleaning session.

To be honest, in English ears, this phrase 'cat got your tongue?' is actually semi-offensive... it is not pleasant, not even in jest. It is best avoided altogether.
