Finally someone’s gentle with the student. Most instructors on yotube hit their students hard for no reason lol

When your master has an accent you know he's legit.

Idk if I’m a fan of that last one, take down but he could definitely pull guard really easy. I know you could get points for the take down, but I would be more worried about the position after the take down or I wouldn’t go for it.

The second takedown is a ko uchi gake or ko uchi makikomi. Great stuff.

Only problem I have that I usually end up in their guard then have trouble getting out 😅

Nobody will let go of your kimono so easily - how can you remove his arm for the drag if he has a good grip on your kimono?

I’m still relatively new to BJJ, but seems like dropping yourself straight into their closed guard seems like a less than effective takedown.

I am not sure how to spell the third takedown, but I am going to try this in class tonight at the Academy

I've got a bunch of joint problems (born that way) and so I'm a little bummed that I can't really do BJJ without really bad injuries. Trying to get back to it but the last one was bad. Trying yoga to help but I wake up feeling 80 years old. If anyone has any experience with this type of thing I'll hear you out. Thanks

Why is the best if they end up automatically in a closed guard or half guard? Going to side control or north south would be better right?
