You hear the word "praxis" a lot in left circles. What is it?

My understanding is praxis is usually tied to social theory and activism. You develop your theory. Then (if you’re an activist) you find some social setting to observe your theory in action. Collect that data, which informs your current theory, you modify the theory based on the new data, and you go back into the field to observe again. Rinse. Repeat.

Even though I'm a conservative, and that I informatively disagree with pretty much all left political stances, I find that these videos are very well-articulated. Good job man!
