PSA: Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana wasn't just one of the greatest RPGs I've ever played... it was one of the greatest _video games_ I've ever played.

If you've never played it... play it. It's unforgettable.

for an action jrpg, the ys franchise (from japanese iisu イース, not Y S), is excellent due to it's music and gameplay; has games with a solo protagonist running around and games with a party based modern titles; but they all play great; my favourite is oath of felghana, but it would be easier for people to get into lacrimosa of dana

Scarlet Nexus’s story and bonding system is so weak that I couldn’t finish the game. I genuinely enjoyed the gameplay thou. The fighting is fun

"Ys" is pronounced exactly like you read it : "eece". Also, people recommended "Oath of Felgana" over "Ys VIII" and "Ys IX" ? That's a first.

Neo the world ends with you has great characters, story and music but....The GAMEPLAY is terrible I'm sorry but there is no way anyone can think its decent 2/5 if the gameplay wasn't so terrible I'd give this a 4/5. Granblue Fantasy Relink 5/5. Tales of Arise is mediocre af the story is subpar and the combat is pretty bad you can literally just spam reigning slash the entire game boring 3/5. Scarlet Nexus 5/5. Nier Automata 5/5. FF7 Remake 5/5. Kingdom Hearts 5/5. Can't comment on the others.

Dude put Tales of Arise in there but forgot Tales of Xillia 1 and 2 which are thousand times better.
