The Top 10 Best Modern RPGs of the Last 15 Years

From the newest iterations of classic series to brand new ones, here are our picks of the top 10 modern RPGs of all time. Here's a couple of quick notes on our rules: For the purposes of this video, we're defining "Modern" as any game released in the last 15 years. Since RPG is such a broad genre, we also made the rule to leave off anything that could be more easily described as a sub-genre, which means we're leaving off all Soulsborne games, tactical-RPGs, and action-RPGs that skew too closely to the action genre.

Dragon Age Origins was an amazing game. One of the true last classics.

I really liked kingdom come deliverance. Character building in that game was the best thing ever. Plus you have to actually learn things rather than gain stats alone like all these other games.

Mass Effect Series were the first real RPGs I’ve ever played. It holds a special place in my heart with its characters, lore, story, concepts, and really fun cover action-shooter gameplay. At a time when I was in Middle School I saw it on Ads and it’s words on deciding the fate of the story intrigued me. When I felt I had no friends anymore thanks to my constant lack of coming up with better conversations. I one day got ME2 after another bad day at school and then all the sudden it was a beauty to play. The characters I got so attached to felt like friends to go back to in an immersive experience unlike any video games I’ve ever played. My choices felt like they matter and I was so cozy with its visual beauty. I feel in love with all three games and now they’re one of my most cherished memories in which fit me through rough times.

Of course witcher 3. For some reason I like roaming around the forests and listen to the music it's so relaxing
