I don't know if this is a new discovery or has been known for years, but it's such a simple and elegant solution to item sorting it blows my mind

I LOVE THAT YOU DO BEDROCK VIDEOS AND CLEARLY STATE IT IN THE DESCRIPTION!!!! THANK YOU!!! There are so many videos where i start building it and then realize it only works on JAVA. so frustrating that its not in the description. awesome videos

This seems like a perfect idea for when you want to do a large building in an area. Just fill all that you want to use into the system then use indicators to grab what you need.

This storage system is perfect for my realm. I built one and used 30 minecarts with chest in it and changed it up a little by placing the rails forward and back not left and right while placing the necessary blocks to mostly hide the chests and minecarts. It looks great and works perfectly. I can access all items from one spot easily. Thank you for this build.

This is perfect for a small crafting area. Its not efficient for farms, but if you're just dumping all your stackables in and keep a nearby cluster of chests for indicator items of each type its elegant, simple, and small. Incredible design for such a compact space.

Great job!

At first i was like oh cool infinite minecart chests on top of eachother that makes sense. But then you showed the indicator items and the hopper minecart thing to just conjure any item from the infinite space. My jaw dropped. Like many others have said, this is a major game changer. Thank you so much

Anytime early game that you wish you had shulker boxes, this storage system comes in.

I didn't think I would use it for anything, and I probably won't, on my current world. I'm realizing that this is the absolute perfect storage system for dyes, food, coal, or any other disposable that you find yourself needing a stack at a time of all the time.

That has got to be the coolest early game/ mega farm storage system I've seen yet. I don't know why you couldn't use it for gold farms, etc as long as you sort out the non stackables

Wow. How many years of trying to build these hopper intensive, Redstone switched monsters with a million chests to pick from….and now I need one! You are one of the most underrated and under viewed Minecrafter I’ve ever come across! Wish I could spread the word faster!

I think a way to make this work on Java would be to put the chest minecarts on top of a mud block. Since they can still have rails placed on them, but mud on Java counts as not a full block so the hoppers can pull through it.

Gold XP farm -> water stream -> minecart hopper filter (nugs, flesh, bars) -> infinite storage -> output chest, swords to furnace stack w/auto fuel from bamboo farm

Very simple design and it does what it says on the tin. I am surprised you did not mention renaming the 4 filler items to insure nothing ever matches them.

I just built it in my redstone test world, I did add an "active" indicator by putting a redstone torch on the back of the bottom control block and put a redstone lamp on top of the torch. This does lock the hopper which loads the dispenser when in active, but I don't think it's a big deal when withdrawing items.

Oh this is actually really great for base building, which I'm planning for right now. Nice for bulk storage with not so many item types, most importantly without the gazillion hoppers 😂

Thanks silentwhisper :) I'm gonna use this in my world

Cool contraption! Reminds me of Etho's concrete picking system, where he had a hopper minecart moving up and down to get items quickly from storage.

I have combined this with your 4 speed item sorter from 2 years ago, added a couple things to automate the dispensing of carts. Makes for a nice and solid system. I think of throwing out 90% of my conventional sorting system.
