Personally, I think the commentary channels do bring light about the scandal to more people (that's how I heard of it first), but there's a line where it becomes into milking the scandal, and too many channels are crossing it.

It is kinda sad how most online figures care more about milking sensationalism instead of actually holding people accountable for bad actions. In a months time all of their clickbait drivel will mean nothing and everything will be back to normal.

I'd say PewDiePie's issues were far softer than Mr. Beast's. Pewdiepie just said some offensive stuff and then apologised. However, Mr. Beast's entire image is now ruined, and that isn't something people will just forget about. What WILL happen is that he'll never be held accountable and will keep making money.

to a certain extent, these commentary drama youtubers take away how serious the situation is. you cant really take anything seriously when someone makes the 15th “hes over” video
