I also started on an unpaid "vibe check" which ended up lasting about a month (feb 22 to march 19) and I also saw multiple people come in and out on "vibe checks". I can't say whether or not the company was cycling unpaid workers with no intention of hiring them but they definitely benefited from their unpaid labor.
