Ironically I had the opposite problem where I somehow disabled it, which made editing and finding clips harder 😂 either way I think you fixed my problem. Time to dig into the settings 😅

You should set turning this on and off to a keyboard shortcut, so you can use it when you're moving frame by frame or even moving in audio units when you're trying to make a tight audio edit. But then turn it off when you're scrubbing.
