Borodyanka Man Spends Months Searching For Family After Russian Strike

Oleksandr Melnychenko has been searching since March for his son, his son's wife, and their three daughters since Russian jets bombed their apartment building. Melnychenko, a former police investigator, chases down any lead in the hope that they somehow escaped death.

My mom‘s best friend was killed in a bombing raid sometime in 1944 or 1945. She still remembers her friend when she passed away almost 50 years later. It’s still haunted her. I don’t think they found her body either.
