So glad you're collaborating with the English Bookshop in Stockholm because they really are great! I visit them regularly and always leave with a larger TBR and a thinner wallet. I hope you'll do an "analogue" event there someday although I will then probably die of fangirl-death...

Hi Jen, lots of fab recommendations as usual. I really enjoyed reading one story a night of The Sister Who Ate Her Brothers, already looking forward to your next book. Your enthusiasm for books is infectious.

Hi, Jen! I just got a call from my local indie letting me know that your books have arrived! I ordered one for me and some for the Christmas Giving Tree at the store too. I’ll post a pic on Twitter later.

I LOVED Pet and am so excited for this follow-up, which I am thinking is a prequel? (Bitter is Jam's Mum if I am remembering correctly), so I am imagining this is digging into how the revolution that Jam alludes to came to be. Sounds so great!

The Christie Affair sounds so good. And full of sweet tea, too! Excited for the new Vuong as well. Night Sky with Exit Wounds was brill.

Ooog! Lesser Known Monsters sounds like it’s right up my alley!! The Rez one too. And of course, I will be picking up the Ali Smith book too.

I went to a large bookstore chain store a couple days ago and asked about your new book and was told it didn't come out until the next day. I went back again today and they didn't have it. *headdesk* I give up, I'll just order it online. I did find a winter/holiday themed short story collection by Agatha Christie however, so that was good.

So many excellent sounding books! Manhunt in particular made me prick up my ears. Thanks for this great round up 😊

I think I’m excited or maybe intrigued by the sequel to The Miniaturist by Jessie Burton. I loved The Miniaturist so so much which makes me nervous for a sequel.
And also the sequels to Amari and the night brothers and The Hatmakers (fantastic middle grade books, if you haven’t read them I highly highly recommend)

Oh, I didn't realize there was going to be a companion novel to _Pet_ - that's exciting.

when you started describing Without warning and only sometimes I knew instantly it was about the religion I grew up in. A lot of members believed in the 1975 prophecy the leaders led them believe. A lot quit their job, sold their house, got in debt. A lot of children got kept home from kindergarten like my mom and uncle. When it didn't happen the members got gaslighted and to this day it gets denied it ever happened. What you described in this book is how all kids grow up. It's really interested. I won't read it bc I lived it lol. But I'm always happy when people write their story especially such a good writer
