Whoa, I didn't know "Upgrade by Blake Crouch" is coming in July. I absolutely devoured Dark Matter and Recursion, these books were so good. I have also read his Wayward Pines trilogy, it is also good..

This was the most in-depth releases video I have seen so far this year. So many good sequels and series conclusions coming out next year. Would be so excited to see the rest of cradle series and last pierce brown book come out next year. Obviously my most anticipated has to be Sanderson but can't wait for the jaguar path and priest of crowns. Will be a lot of brilliant new books to keep us all happy next year! ❤️

I almost didn't watch this video, because I've put myself on a book buying ban. I guess it will have to change to a book-buying diet. Lol
I didn't know Fonda Lee had a novella coming out. I actually squealed when you mentioned it. I love the Green Bone Saga so much. My dream is that she will write a prequel about the grandfathers.
Maybe I'll limit myself to one book purchase to one per month. I had no idea so many of my favorite authors had new releases coming out in 2022. 🙂

I generally don't follow new releases because there's so many backlist books to get to but John Gwynne's books take precedent over everything. Hunger of the Gods is pre-ordered.

Flames of Mira just sounds super cool! I can't wait for Babel! I'm so excited to see that ML Wang is releasing another books! I've started to read more adult fantasy books and this has been so helpful.

Great video, Petrik! My anticipated release list is generally like 2 or three books lol! I'm excited I'll finally be caught up for a Sanderson release by the time Lost Metal comes out and I'm definitely curious to read Babel.

I only have three anticipated books next year: James Barclay's the Queen's Assassin (apparently it's standalone, so...yay, I guess?!); the Basilisk Throne by Greg Keyes (it's touted as a cross between Pirates of the Caribbean and Master &Commander, no less) . And the most anticipated fantasy of '22 for me is Lord Quillifer by Walter Jon Williams.

March 22, Destiny of the Dead by Kel Kade, book 2 of The Shroud of Prophecy.
I've heard you reference Fate of the Fallen in previous videos, not sure if you really enjoyed it, but I definitely did. Quick read and very fun. Looking forward to book 2!

Just found your channel, and now I'm adding books to my to be read list, which is dangerous.

That said, I'm so excited for The Bladed Faith. So excited. David is a gem. Beyond that, my current waiting list is The Hourglass Throne (book 3 of The Tarot Sequence) by KD Edwards, and The Fae Keeper by H E Edgmon. But yeah. So many books, so little time.

P. S. "Fevered Star", the second volume of "Between Earth and Sky" by Rebecca Roanhorse will also be released in April 2022.

great video! Agree with you about Gwynne and Ryan's work. I am especially glad that Gwynne is releasing in April, given all he and his family have gone through recently. The best tribute he can give his little girl is to keep writing.

I look forward to The Lonesome Crown ... yes, I agree, very underrated! I am looking forward to the Tad Williams books also. I am currently reading part III of Memory, Sorrow, and Thorn ... I am reading it slowly because I love it so much, rereading chapters and writing down many beautiful, memorable passages. Wonderful! And of course, all of your suggestions look good ... thanks for another great video Petrik!
