I don't use facebook or twitter, so I don't know where else to say this: I was at your event in Göteborg yesterday and it was awesome. Almost couldn't sleep because my head was spinning so hard with all the stuff to think about after your talk. Next time I hope I can afford one of the meet and greet tickets.

Mr. Peterson, at great cost to himself by putting himself out there for the world to throw rocks at, keeps knocking it out of the park as far as guidelines for living a quality life. Thank your Mr. Peterson.

We, as women, stand with you too. We all need father figures. It has helped me navigate my life as a female, in a jungle of perplexing narratives. Driven by people, who do not have my best interest in mind, nor that of my young daughter. I was able to recognize that in time. It has changed our lives as a young family.

Happy happy birthday Dr Peterson. I am a Jamaican woman the same age as you. You have helped me so much and I listen to you as often as I can. You are the voice of reason and common sense in a world that is making less and less sense. You are appreciated and on doing what you're doing it is a big help to so many. You are a wonderful gentleman. May God bless you and your lovely family. May you have many more years to share your wisdom with the world. Happy birthday Sir

Love you/yours JBP! Thanks for helping us be better. That's so rare right now. My faux-news dad, my liberal woke sister, my suicidal 600lb brother, and my own weak self all listen to your lessons and appreciate your advice.

Sin abounds where good men do nothing, thanks for doing something Professor Peterson.

Denigrate (verb): criticize unfairly, disparage.

I had to look this up to fully understand. Thank you JP!

I can always feel sadness in his voice and I think that since he's so smart and understands how things work, he realizes how almost everyone else doesn't realize and reach their totally achievable potential and sees that most of us has a biased way of thinking and viewing the world.

Dr. Petersons remaining true to pushing for values that improve one’s quality of life is rare. With the number of detractors present not only on YouTube but in life it says a lot about a person who can remain focused, and unshaken.

I am a conservative baby-boomer. My time has past. My opinions are for the most part reviled by the current generations. It is time for me to bow out of the discourse and watch the world become whatever it becomes. I never had privilege that I could recognize. I had a damn hard life when I was young. I worked in factories where people passed out from heat. I worked on farms and ranches picking produce, bucking hay, hauling bloated dead calves to a pit. I worked construction in brutal summer heat. I worked unblocking sewer pipes and toilets. Because I was not educated I did a million terrible things to get by. I eventually put myself through community college and have worked IT jobs ever since. I found a way out, but it took a lot of hard work.

Now I wonder what did all that accomplish? Was I able to gain some wisdom to pass along? Not really, because no one wants to hear what I have to say. I did some good for others along the way by providing, so there is that I suppose. But in the end I am just another sad old man who never hears a single word of encouragement. I am here just running out the clock. Eternity awaits.

To be educated is to grow beyond one’s temperament, to paraphrase Dr. Peterson, and it is a brilliant observation, one of many in this podcast.

This chapter (essay) stands alone. I visit it quite frequently.

I've listened to several of your debate videos and always found myself siding with your point of view. Today I found myself looking you up.

I really enjoyed your views on depression. My family has told me for decades I am severely depressed and need help. They buy me books (I never open), and even offered to pay for a shrink. Years ago I took my child to one, and it appeared to me they were taking notes to write a book just to show off to their peers.

Anyway, I'm going to follow your advice. I had many "wow, that's me", moments. Just wanted to say thank you.
