This is a hard watch. I was a 90’s kid, was well into Britpop and while a Blur man this was always my favourite from Oasis. A song that’s meant to be sung by a crowd, or group of solid friends who have a great time together and now winding down ready for home & sleep. The slight trace of melancholy mixed with what almost sounds like a plea for better times ahead, or hope.
I was a festival kid, late 90’s to 2010’s. Glastonbury regular before it turned all luvvie, Emily, mainstream and expensive - but Reading was always our highlight. We’d camp as a group, split up & go see different bands then all drift back to camp at night. Get the fire going, the camping chairs out, the beers and the Rizlas and laugh/banter till too wasted to do anything but sleep. My last must have been 2005 when my health started going bad.
I barely know 21 Pilots but they do this song justice- but I know that Reading and this song are an ironed in part of my soul. What happens to the soul when its host passes on? I’m 41yrs old now, what happened to me?

Had to track this down because of the acoustic mix that's out there that has this version of this cover from them in it. It's a hour long mix and this little segment makes my heart and soul vibrate to the earth more than any and had to find the isolated version to enjoy in it's solitude, if there's others out there like me.
