The bit about crows is no joke: they hold grudges and remember faces, outfits and vehicles. They're excellent problem solvers, and pass along information (including whoever's pissed them off) to other crows. They did a 10 year study of this in British Columbia, and the researchers wore specific outfits and masks to capture and tag them. Even after a decade, the birds remembered them, and the younger ones reacted the exact same way.
