We traveled this year with 2 Kids (12y & 7y) 14 days to greece (Athens + 2 Islands). Everything was packed in 2 Osprey 40l (Farpoint & Fairview) incl. the Farpoint/Fairview Travel Daypack, 1 Fjallraven SKULE 28 & 1 small Backpack from Tatonka (15L). As organisation we had 6 Packing Cubes from Peak Design (4x medium, 2x small), 4 Shoe Pouches (no name, from Amazon), 2 Osprey Drysack (14L + 20L), 2 Tech Pouches (1x Bellroy Tech Kit, 1x no name) and one (old) Toiletry Bag from Nomatic. And guess what? It was great 😎 Thanks to the Pack Hacker team, without your videos and blogs we would be chanceless 👍👍

This channel has changed our travel life for the best. The one bag travel is the way to go it's all about organizing and travel cubes are live savers. My wife loves her Aer bag and believe me she did fight in the beginning and we your help with some great videos she does not leave home without it.

I love the Farpoint 40!! We traveled through Europe and it was great on the fly being able to switch from Backpack to briefcase style on to go (literally while I was walking). I also being able to cover up my locks with the side straps. Bright green on the inside makes it easy for seeing of my stuff too. Lastly, it is super comfortable. I have worn it for hours with no complaints

I travel extensively with Tom Bihn Synik 30 . It’s been a workhorse. Love it.

I recently bought the Farpoint 40 for the possible extra space of my usual carry on: The Osprey Porter 30. The thing was that when I opened the Porter 30 and the Farpoint 40 side by side I didn't notice much of a space difference in their main compartments except the Farpoint was slightly longer. I think the reason is because the laptop sleeve intrudes into the main compartment on the Farpoint where in the Porter no other compartments intrude on the main compartment. I've traveled with the Porter 30 and depending on how it's packed, I can actually fit it under the seat in front of me. The Farpoint is slightly longer so it probably won't fit under the seat. I like the Farpoint I just got, but truthfully if I knew how the laptop compartment intrudes into the main compartment I probably wouldn't have gotten it because it really isn't giving me the extra space I thought it would to justify the money spent when I already owned a Porter 30.

I traveled to 40 + countries and one of my favourite bags is Deuter trans alpine 30. Yes it might be a bit small for someone but in reality it’s enough. I love it. It lasted me 11 years of almost every day use 😮.

Traded my aer TP3 for alpaka travel backpack and couldn't be happier. Yes the small pockets on the interior COULD be annoying, but i only put gear in there I need access to once my clothes and stuff are pulled out, or i store a backup cable or two in there and lesser used dongles. The bag is excellent and packs down when not full to be used as an edc bag

My Farpoint 40 has always been reliable to me for travel. I repurposed it sometimes as a gym and weekend trip bag.

I recently picked up the Cotopaxi Allpa 42L Travel Pack for a 6 week trip to the Philippines in November/December. I got a deal with it that included a free Luzon 18L Del Dia backpack.

I'm surprised the Cotopaxi Allpa 42/35L didn't make the list. I've traveled all over the world with the 35L version over the past few years and couldn't be happier with it. I chose it over the Osprey Farpoint. Maybe I need to revisit the Osprey.

My Gregory Tribute 55 (40 L travel backpack with optional 15 L zip-on day pack) is everything. Even fully loaded i barely feel the weight (unlike my Son's Osprey). It has a wishbone inner frame for support, a suspended mesh back panel for airflow, and extra thick padding on the straps and hipbelt. It is woman specific, has an adjustable harness, and of course opens clamshell. I absolutely love it! Plus it includes a 3-in-1 raincover. 👍

My eBags TLS Motherlode (now the Mother Lode Travel Backpack) was excellent for 11 days in Italy. Then it became my one bag for every trip since then. I see it's available now for a lot less than I paid for it in 2019, now about $100. What's right for one person, might not be ideal for someone else but for me, I give it 5 stars.

I'm in love with the matador globerider 45, I love the one section a whole tub for space, and the other section split into 2, works especially for storing liquids bag and taking it out when needed for TSA, and the stretch pouch on the outside is perfect for throw anything pouch

Can you please review the more budget-oriented Forclaz backpacking packs (in particular the Backpack travel organizer 500 | 40L) from Decathlon?

I have been a one bag traveler for years and I use the Cotopaxi Del Dia 42 L. I love it’s layout and has just the right amount of pockets 😊🇨🇦
