Every time I hear these stories I get really angry! It seems to me that if the medical community was REALLY interested in keeping people healthy they would at least spend equal amount of time pushing for healthy food, clean air and clean water. They seem to support the pharmaceutical and biotech industries that are just making humanity sicker with all the chemicals and lack of respect for the human body.

Parents don't keep their kids home from school when they are sick, but instead send them to school to spread it to others and it spreads exponentially. One more reason teachers should get paid more!

This is very true…not only does it affect children but adults as well. My mother passed on Christmas after being on life support for a week. She had battled lung cancer previously and had most of her left lung removed several years ago. She recovered but any respiratory virus could make her sick. She was diagnosed with pneumonia and strep A. They intubated her in the ER and she never recovered. Everyone please take this serious and get to the dr ASAP if you start having symptoms. No one should lose someone over this.😢❤

Just came down with the flu/influenza and now has progressed to viral infection impacting breathing. I’m on the other side and I had the flu shots months ago. This at times was worse than having Covid especially when my molars were aching. Stay safe out there …

My baby girl turns 1 next week. She started daycare at 4 months and we have passed a cold back and forth for the majority of the time. It’s so hard to keep my job but I’m make it happen. Wash your hands and be mindful of others. If you’re sick, there’s no reason to be out unless it’s to see a doctor.

My 62 year old mother lost her life a week ago to what started with influenza A, then strep A attacked her lungs leading to necrotic pneumonia, which led to septic shock attacking her organs. Even if she "could" have survived, she would be missing limbs due to necrosis. We did everything we could to save her, but after 5 days on a ventilator and 24 hours on dialysis.. Her suffering was irrefutable and she did not deserve this. Our lives will never be the same, but knowing she is at peace has given us some solace.

I'm a preschool teacher, and since I started rinsing out my sinuses with saline, I haven't been down with a bug more than two or three days. No sinus infections or ear infections, and no positive tests for strep, flu, Covid or RSV.

I had something last week that I could not shake for the life of me. I was lethargic, had chills, stomach ache, and a weird congestion in the back of my nose, that was REALLY thick thick. i don't know what it was but thankfully I got over it.
