I'm a senior citizen and caught a viral flu that included paralysis of my legs and arms, very high fever, lasted three and a half weeks and paralysis about 6 hours. I fell hard when my legs just gave out going to bathroom at night and laid flat on my back for five hours without ability to move and get to my phone. I relaxed and slept where I fell. I hurt my knee and hit my head when I fell. The fever lasted several days with a high of 102.7 and probably over 103 when I was driving home from a family Thanksgiving get together.. The night I knew I was getting sick I had uncontrolled shivers so strong both my arms were flailing away. I used over the counter flu medicine to control the fever and after the 3.5 weeks, it was gone. I tested twice for covid and both were negative. My neck hurt throughout the period. Stayed in bed, drank lots of Gatorade Zero had no appetite. My weight went from 188 to 175. When I got my appetite back, it went to 184 and I felt better. Overall worst flu I ever got in my 73 years.

I'm not a conspiracy theorist...that said, I am wondering what, if any effect the Covid19 vaccines could be playing here? Personally, for my househols we have never stopped wearing our masks everywhere, avoiding restaurants and large crowds, sanitizing hands, etc. and have thus far not caught Covid, the flu or even a cold since lockdown began.

Until covid vaccine left me with neuro problems, I had the flu vaccine . Not anymore lost any trust I had in our so called public health / government . I just survived covid, it was like flu. Will take my chances with Mother Nature thanks .

My entire family is just getting over the flu. We all got sick before Thanksgiving. What is crazy is that the past three years it's been either Thanksgiving sickness's or Christmas sickness. Unbelievable!

I had to go to the ER last night and get fluids in me. I have epilepsy so when I get sick or dehydrated it can trigger my seizures. I haven’t been this sick in so long but it’s been bad. I have Flu A, migraine went away but still feel awful.
