The past few days have been so tough for me but I found peace with this song.

I have a dear friend that is currently receiving hospice care at home. I have been praying for him and during my visits I always try to encourage him to pray. I remind him how much Jesus loves him. That He can call out to Him night or day and that He will hear his prayers. Yesterday as we talked about our families, he asked me if I would do something for him. His gets confused at times with words, but he conveyed his request. It reminded me of God's amazing love for us, His children. Speken with very simple words that to some may have not even made sense, but to me, his words were most elequent and so full of love and terms of endearment. As he spoke softly and slowly he was also humming the tune of "What a friend.." I recognized it, after a dozen or so notes. I didnt remember all of the words to each verse, so I looked it up and then I sang it to him. Afterwards. He asked me to print out a copy for his son and to also tell him to always keep it with him in his wallet. It was such a beautiful moment for more than one reason. I decided to print more than one copy, of course. We always need to be reminded of the love and friendship we can find in Jesus and with our Christian sisters and brothers. In Christ, we are family, united by the precious blood of Jesus Christ that was shed for our sins on the cross. Especially in times of hardship and loss, we need to hold tight to Him and " take it to the Lord in prayer". Thank you for your beautiful collaborationof these 2 songs. Exceptional performance. Just perfect! Thank you for the inspiration and encouragement provided by your ministry. God bless you all.
