You see govt do direct cash transfer not to increase the gdp of country they did in other countries for people who has lost all their jobs and business in second wave so in that regards it is the best way to give them some money which they can spend which can lead up to less worse economy down situation just by creating some demand in market and it is also correct that billions of people are unemployed and number got big after this pandemic yes the good effect is now lot of small companies are coming too in online shopping, medical and in other essential services and when you come back to UP if the govt is too much taxes and money on fuel, lpg, cng, electricity then how can you say that income and spending of most households are having good balance in it and there was no inflation in last few years and as soon as elections came you withdrawn farm laws, lowered the price slashed taxes and everything so how can someone belive that if you win you won't create that huge inflation again thanks..
