After delays caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, Singapore's deep tunnel sewerage system is now set to be up and running by the end of 2026. This is about a year later than previously announced. Digging works for what has been described as a sewage superhighway are now complete. The project has been more than 20 years in the making and has cost around S$10 billion so far.

although is expensive but it's a good move rather than rely your fate on someone else hand. May be this can also resolved the flood in lower lands due to heavy rain?
