GTA V - All's Fare in Love and War Achievement/Trophy Guide - Private Fare

This achievement can be a little complicated.

To start, you'll need to spawn as Franklin and buy the "Downtown Cab & Co." business for $200,000. The ability to buy property and the money will come through natural progression.

Just play the game for a while as Franklin, and as you are driving around you will receive a call on your cellphone, from the owner of the company asking you if you'd like to work on a "Private Fare" to earn some extra money. This call is unique because it happens on your cellphone and NOT through the dispatcher. Accept the request on the cellphone, and then complete the "Private Fare" mission which will be marked on your map. After completing the short mission, you will get some money and also unlock this achievement!

most of the problems we are having is GETTING THE CALL IN THE FIRST PLACE.

This is how I got the trophy in 15 minutes:
1:buy the taxi business
2:take a taxi and save it in Franklins garage
3:go to your bed and sleep for a full week ;example: if you start on Monday then go to bed until you make it back too Monday. Ps, you don’t have to save the game you can just hop back in and out of bed.
4:after you sleep a full week go and hop in your taxi and you will get a call.

October 14 2023: For anyone who can’t get the fare’s to appear. Complete all of Tonya’s missions (only 5) and once you do, buy the impound business. Once I did that, the call instantly appeared. Hope this helps

Okay here is how I did this. I've been driving around for weeks trying to get a call, after I completed the game 100%. Then I realized the random events didn't trigger either. I looked it up and more people have this problem. I tried everything. Then I decided to load an earlier game, around 70/80%. I bought the Cab Co, drove around a bit, tried the 'quick save' thing and nothing worked. Then I dropped a grenade (on purpose), killed myself, went to Mt. Zoniah hospital and as soon as I came out I got a call! It only took me 15 minutes after I loaded an earlier game! I picked up a car from the street en did the fare, it was easy. R* somehow ends the game if you complete the game 100%, just load an earlier game! (LIKE OF REPOST THIS SO EVERYONE CAN SEE! I now how frustrating it can be to get nothing for days or weeks.) Enjoy!

I have been waiting for the call since the game came out 7 years ago... still no call

I had been driving around for a month and nothing, however i brought the towing company and seconds later i got a call!

If you miss this you have to sleep through a week for it to pop again...week starts Monday and ends Sunday....just cycle through sleep without saving and walk outside to you car, get in it and the phone call will pop, then just drive to location, you don't need a taxi you can use Franklin's car...took me ages to find that information!

I can confirm that you can get more than 1 private fare. The first time I turned it down and then decided to load an old save to get it. As soon as I got the achievement I reloaded my main save and got another call instantly...
You also don't have to use a taxi.

I'm going to tell you how I got this trophy in 10 minutes:
1- First, I bought the taxi.
2- I called for a cab and stole it.
3- I saved the taxi in Franklin's house garage.
4- I slept and saved the game.
5- I woke up and went to the garage, then entered the cab.
6- I received a phone call from the boss and accepted the mission.
7- I went to the "P" icon on the map.

BE CAREFUL, never touch the "L3" button while driving to the "P" icon because that would end the mission and start a simple taxi job

He calls once a week, so sleep for a week and he will call you. Just got the trophy few minutes ago

CORRECTION : This totally worked. It didn't work the first time because I ignored the first greeting call, but when I reloaded, bought the cab company, took the first call, saved, and loaded instantly the second call came in. This is your solution everyone. Kudos drouglas. :D

Nice guide, but that guy isnt your boss lol. You bought the place out, Franklin is the boss. If you decline the calls (like I usually do) he'll send you a text saying, "sorry, shouldnt have bothered you". Doesnt sound like boss behavior to me. :D

I got the call and got the achievement. If anyone is having problems getting the call, buy the towing impound. Almost immediately after I did this, I got a call. Also, you don't need to be in a taxi to get the call or pick up the person. I got a call just standing at the towing impound right after I bought it. Hope I helped!

How you get it:

1. Finish all tonyas missions

2. sleep for a week/blow up yourself that a week is going

3. buy the towing area. Immediately after you‘ve bought it, you‘ll receive the call.

I went to the safe house and kept putting Franklyn to sleep until it says Monday, went outside to the garage where I had a taxi saved and I got the phone call within seconds, hope this helps
