GREAT BOOKS TO UNDERSTAND ROWING

Best purchase since my rower 4 years ago. Very versatile - relax and spin or limp away from intense intervals. I find it very difficult to hop on the rower and just chill. Not the case with the bike - great way to wake up or wind down. It filled that hole in my routine. Of course, you can bury yourself if you're feeling it. It's small enough to sit in the corner of the living room, too. Love it.

I just ordered mine last night, and Concept 2 has already shipped my bike . It’s expected delivery day is Monday and today is Friday. Talking about great customer service . . . I expected it to take a couple of weeks. Thanks for your great videos on the 2 bike. They helped in making a decision to buy the C2.

I've been riding my BikeErg for three weeks. I'm loving it! It feels smooth, like my road bike.I love the "gearing" effect I get from damper and cadence changes. I've been doing "hiit" workouts with my model D rower and free weights. FanTAStic addition to my home gym!!! Love watching your assembly of it. I put the handlebars on backwards too... LOL

They are aimed at the under 50s!
Lots of people, men and women, row both competitively and for fitness into their 60s-70s-80s and yes beyond. Much of this is not ‘old folk’ rowing but is HIIT.
It is often said people who are 50 look like people used to look like at 35. The same maths now applies right through the age range. So come on Dark Horse Rowing and other WODs remember us too! Of course my times in my 80s are not the same as a fit 35 year old ( loss of muscle power) but at 84 I can row 2000m at 7-37.7 and I don’t hold the World Record for an over 80 that is 7-26.6. So we buy or use Concept2, train consistently 230 times in a year, so please remember us and direct some programmes towards the Masters.

Just start to wonder if the rider sweats a lot during workout, it seems easily to get sweat on the exterior of flywheel even get sweat inside the chamber. Is this a proper concern?

Seems like a huge drawback may be the noise factor. I don't mind noise for rowing, but I get the impression a lot of people want to be able to make their own peloton style setup at home on the cheap and hearing your video/instructor might be difficult here.
