Fairfield Horseshoe - 10 miles and 3200 feet of ascent in under 3 minutes

This classic horseshoe walk had been on my 'bucket list' for a long time and on 16 September 2019, a wonderful weather window gave me the opportunity to complete it. Starting at Rydal and returning via High and Low Sweden Bridges to Ambleside, it exceeded all expectations. The views were spectacular and 360 degree vista at the summit just kept giving and giving.
