Francis Sparshott (1926-2015) was a distinguished philosopher, poet, professor at Victoria College (UofT), a former ASA president (1980-82), as well as a highly regarded former president of the League of Canadian Poets.
In 1969 there was a big gathering where poets got the opportunity to read some of their poems hosted by the League of Canadian Poets. Among them was its president at the time, Douglas Lochhead, Massey College Librarian at the time.
Many thanks to Mark Pellegrino at the Media Commons for helping us with the audio.
