OMG I never thought of owning a civic until I saw this car. Made me look into the civics past/older models and I decided to buy a 2000 EK coupe for a project/track car. But this TYPE R LOOKS SO COOL! I hope to own one before Christmas! Good luck to those who have one and are getting one!

I have a 2005 Civic si hatch, my first car, which I got in highschool back in 2011. I really want this car as my next, but unfortunately that may be a while since I'm still in college and do not have the funds lol, but one day!!

My 2015 Ford has spent 6 months in the shop overall. I think I could live with this thing, as apposed to Enterprise vehicles.

Once I graduate college, I hope to get this car. For now I just have my standard 2009 civic, but I like the idea of having a civic, so of course you know it's still reliable, but a lot of fun to drive too :) looks like it would be fun to drive

I would prefer an AWD version for better off the line acceleration experience but I can't deny that a benefit of FWD is that the AWD competition doesn't stand a chance on a roll race against it thanks to the lighter weight and lower drive train loss. There are plenty of videos out there showing how the European Type R walks away from AWD cars like STI, RS, Golf R.
