Superchargers make EVERYTHING Better: The Mercedes C32 AMG Carlsson Review (and sold in record time)

Показать описание
We traded our R320 CDI project last year for this 2002 C32 AMG. Our buddy needed a family rig and Dale needed an AMG (doesn't everybody?)
Dale went to work un-modifying several "customizations" that came with the car including removing the aftermarket coil overs, adding parts of the exhaust that were partially missing, going back to stock headlights, and fitting the correct intake.
He also replaced the idler pulley when it suddenly and violently failed, the air injection pump that was causing a stubborn check engine light, and the transmission conductor plate that was causing erratic shifting behavior. Now that everything is sorted, it's off to a new home.
The W203 generation of the Mercedes C-class included an AMG version that first came with supercharged m112 V6 from 2002 to 2004 known, as the C32 AMG, then a naturally aspirated V8 version from 2005-2007, known as the C55 AMG. Our C32 was not the best W203 on the road, but was the rare Carlsson model that included some aftermarket tuning, unique wheels, and a special full manual mode on the transmission that other W203s did not have. When we listed it on Facebook marketplace, it sold in less than 24 hours of listing and generated a lot of interest!
If you are looking for an AMG Mercedes, almost everything has gone up in price dramatically over the last couple years. The C32 is also increasing in cost but is still reasonable for anyone looking for a fun daily driver or weekend car without breaking the bank.
