The confidence mixed with humility shows this man's intelligence. I'm looking forward to how he transitions to The Bigs. I haven't seen a great forkball in years.

I love how he can't wait to go head-to-head with the whole Phillies line-up, it shows that he has a bit of that dog in him as well as being very humble. He's going to need that dog here in the MLB. I like his demeanor, I think he'll transition well, very relaxed and very humble. I also like how the other day he said he can't wait to learn from JV and Max, which again shows ultimate humility. He reminds me a lot of Hideo Nomo without the funky wind up, but their release points are very similar. Their stuff is also very similar though Kodai has a liver arm which bodes very well for Kodai because a young Nomo was nearly un-hittable at times. If he pitches up to or even near ace form and Quintana pitches like he did for the Cardinals last year, then we really got two steals salary wise I mean. I wish Kodai much success LFGM!!!!

Senga's shares his love for One Piece to the world. 😂 Some fun facts about it.
1. He keeps a whole volume of One Piece manga in his locker in Fukuoka Dome.
2. Lots of his walk-up song are from the One Piece OST. "One Day" "Believe" The one he used the longest is "Kokoro no Chizu" the OP from the Water 7 arc.
3. When One Piece Film Red was released in Japan, he actually got corona and couldn't watch it the day it was released so he was frustrated about it. His teammates who watched the film first were teasing him about it. 😂
4. One of his biggest dreams is to meet Oda-sensei in person.

I’m expecting big things. If all goes well with his transition to the MLB ball and staying healthy, Senga will win a Cy Young. As a Japanese and Ohtani fan boy I really hope he joins Senga in New York in 2024.
