From own experience and talking to both doctors and others with ADHD, I can tell its overdiagnosed and more of a symptom. The prevalence of two different kinds of ADHD suggests there are more factors at play that may result in very similar symptoms.

Pretty sure with the prevalence of video games and social media, more and more kids will be diagnosed with adhd. Not sure if they actually have adhd or if they are becoming addicts like people who constantly go gambling. Either way its not good.
