When you mention the gold plated AirPods, I don't think you fully appreciate the dopeness of what that guy did. He didn't gold plate his AirPods, he disassembled them, made a wax copy of the plastic housing and then cast it in gold. I.e they're not plated, they're ACTUALLY made of gold.
