Got the Twin and Audio 6, was thinking either the SL2 or the Volt when it comes out. Have you actually tested it out yet? Keep up the great videos!

I’m really looking forward to getting one. I use a 2020 ipad 7, and I tried using a Tascam USHR 1x2 interface. And let me tell you… that interface sucked. So to see a big company like UA make a more budget friendly interface, which can work with Ipads, - which can also be plugged in separately and not bus powered, - is a big game changer indeed.

UA can't make the change for it to run UA plugins or LUNA. The Audio interface doesn't have onboard DSP which is a requirement for the plug-ins to function. Spec's have not come out yet so I'm not 100% sure how the vintage pre and compressor are working without DSP. perhaps a integrated DSP specifically for those circuits (I'm not an electrical or audio engineer so will have to wait for UA or some smart YouTuber to explain how exactly that is working. But I do know that UA plugin support and LUNA won't ever be making it to these devices.
