On a happier note, we also talk about a recent Wall Street Journal article that shows that Bible sales are on the rise, especially among young people. And Pastor John Piper takes a stand against "gender hospitality" and the affirmation of false gender ideology.

My husband is a quadriplegic and has had euthanasia suggested to him by doctors even though he's been healthy with his injury for 20 years, is the main breadwinner of our family and is an active dad to our two young daughters. The legalization of euthanasia always leads to the devaluation of disabled and mentally ill people as well as people who are simply poor or in a vulnerable position.

I wrote about this in my Christian college newspaper in the pacific northwest as the issue of euthanasia was beginning to circulate over twenty years ago. I was very opposed to it and concerned of the "white coat" pressure. I received much backlash from students at the university. Not twenty years later, my own father had ALS. At a "support" seminar, the organization separated the caregivers from the afflicted. Those with ALS were shown how to obtain doctor assisted suicide. It's disgusting how we are becoming a society that is trying to rid ourselves of the most vulnerable.

I’m expecting an hour with John Piper on the topic of pronoun hospitality and he didn’t even show up until 47 minutes in!

I’ve started seeing a pattern with your video titles and I end up scrolling to the end of each to get to the part you’ve promised to talk about.

It’s really frustrating… feels like a bait-and-switch. If it’s not the entire topic, then list out everything you’ll be talking about so people don’t think you’re stringing them along for views. Six minutes talking about (not with) John Piper does not an entire show make.

I worked at a US nursing home in 2012 where they encouraged a 52 year old man in a wheelchair to make himself a DNR. He had very few family members left and they coerced him into signing a DNR. The same nursing home withheld tube feedings from a younger man paralyzed neck down. He stared at the empty food pole for days before he passed. This happens alot in roundabout sneaky ways in America. No insurance poverty little family etc same thing. It is very scary. I was a nurse for 25 years before covid vax and subsequent abdominal surgery left me at 77lbs and near death. They were close to this with me

I fought... im still fighting. And a new trial drug was introduced this year that i was put on.

Im still here. Im glad no one offered this MAiD option to me when i was overwhelmed and out of it and desperate. I may not still be here if they did.

My brother-in-law suffered a massive stroke last April. He was in a coma for almost a month and paralysed. He was on ventilator and tube fed. Doctors gave him 6-9 months. If euthanasia was allowed, he wouldn't be with us now. Now, he is alert, can see, hear, smell, has regained some head movement, slight left arm movement. He's off ventilator. Learning to swallow liquid. Such a miracle. Though slow, at this rate, he can walk out of the hospital one day.
With euthanasia, he could've been deprived of a miracle which does happen. Praise God. Pray for him for me, guys.
