Is the HTC One A9's design reminiscent of the Iphone 6 and 6s, or did Apple copy HTC's particular back design (metal with two parallel stripes on the top and the bottom) without anyone saying anything?

I used to really admire HTC for its bold dual front firing speakers, clean Android skin, powerful hardware, and a design that's actually unique yet premium. Those days are over I guess.

Does the new sense have a landscape mode? since Marshmallow allows for a landscape mode in the homescreen.

This thing looks more like an iPhone than how the iPhone 6 resembled the HTC One M7.

(PS: I don't know if you guys know, but the iPhone 6 took main design cues from the fifth iPod touch. The only thing that they copied, to my eyes, are the antenna bands. I'm not a sheep. Just something to point out.)

Did everyone forget when the iPhone 6 first came out people were saying Apple copied HTC with how the back of the phone looks. Such as the antennas.

to everyone goes " it is an iPhone clone!! ", HTC is the one that used the uni body metal design first in their m series... any doubts check out the m8 that came way before the iPhone 6

Everyone needs to chill... HTC actually said that they took a few elements from Apple to make this a more familiar phone to Apple users seeking an Android experience. They stated how although they've had the metal design before Apple, they also took a few key design choices that everyone loves from Apple. There's no one getting angry about this besides the fanboys.

I've been with HTC for years and I really, really, REALLY LOVE them, except the m9 crap. M8 is still fast and fluid, though I debate about this a9 and nexus 6p both are great but I kinda want a bigger screen.

The iPhone 6 was a copy of the HTC M8 first all metal phone no big deal. HTC adds a fingerprint scanner and all hell breaks lose

the only difference between the iPhone 6 and this is the camera in the middle
