I'm so glad you put the water quantities that have fallen into a visible perspective. I'm so over people saying "but Australia has always had floods and droughts and bushfires, this is nothing new!" Now can you please do a similar video with a relatable visual like that explaining how droughts and bushfires are getting worse in different areas of Australia?

Australia is normally quite dry, so a few years ago I started collecting succulents (a type of desert plant). It's rained so much, that some are developing mould. I've had to build a greenhouse to protect them from the rain, but the humidity itself is also causing some of the plants to rot. I'm so tired of the rain & humidity!!

Considering this is Sydney alone, id love to see the statistics for Melbourne. It's basically constantly raining here, we get MAYBE 1 good day a week, if we're lucky, and the rest is rain

You have presented me with a lot more information to understand what is happening. Thanks.

Great segment. Puts things in perspective.

It is still a good time to plant plants. They make a positive impact on our micro and macro environment and weather. Imagine 2 - 5 years time when (we are on the other side of this and) the barron hot land would benefit from a shrub, tree or plant you planeted today.

Great video. I normally think these are gimmicky but this was really helpful. Just one what's causing the persistent wind from the Tasman, and is there no way of estimating when it might end based on historical wind records?

Meanwhile in Perth its been a bit cooler this month, but mostly dry. I'd love to know why these 5 significant drivers don't really affect SW Australia

Didn’t the experts tell us a few years ago, during the drought, floods were never happening again

A well known Australian poem by Dorothea MacKellar. Written in 1908.
"I love a sunburnt country,
A land of sweeping plains,
Of ragged mountain ranges,
Of DROUGHTS and FLOODING RAINS,
I love her far horizons,
I love her jewel sea,
Her beauty and her terror,
The wide brown land for me."

Don't overthink things people.
