Hi why no dubble concave as in the new free and style? You mentioned in the sky free video, that it is better in terms of glide and early take of but say the same about the single concave here… so I am a bit confused 😊 would be nice if you could help me understand 😉

Hey Fin and Jeffrey, looks like you guys have designed a really great board and seems to be exactly what I have been looking for.

I weigh 99kg and I use the 5'1 Sky Style 85l in wind from 15-30 knots (with different wings and aero free foils). I really like the board and the volume, because it sinks a bit under my weight which adds stability to me getting up in heavy chop, but I could do with slightly earlier take-off for both lighter winds and also for using smaller foils. I'm also after a narrower board that won't catch the rails as much (I have the '23 version Style) on turns on waves and in chop.

I'm on the UK South Coast with a lot of chop and small mushy waves. Would the 5'8 (85l) Skybrid be what I am looking for and a good replacement for the 5'1 Sky Style? I want to use it with the Whizz 1000 and 850 for riding swell and waves.

75 kg early intermediate, learning jibes on US great lakes where there is often 3’ wind swell. How hard is it to stand up in such conditions compared to my 29” wide 110L learning board where it is no problem for me in any conditions. A bit worried about 22” width, would I need to learn stink bug?

Hey, I’m advanced rider, mostly riding ocean waves. My weight is around ~90kg and I’m not really sure whether to go for 5’8” or 5’10”. Given I’m mostly riding waves I’d like least amount of swingweight possible but on the other hand I know things can get sketchy if the wind dies and knee riding is not an option because the board is too small. Also - is going for a smaller board going to diminish the light wind superiority of this board (board 85L rider 90kg) ? Thoughts? :)

So as a wing foiler, when should I choose the downwinder sls and when the skybrid? Thanks

hey guys, it's been about 10 months since the skybrid came out, but i am keen to buy an 85L after demoing it from my local dealer. does it make more sense to wait another 2 months if there is going to be a new version coming out?

Great concept! I think it's also a much better and compact feeling on the feet with the reduced width. As a former windsurfer with small boards I always wondered about the wide shapes. Do you think the floating of size 100l in no- wind to light-wind conditions is enough for my 90kg? Until now i use an AK with 110l.

This shape will be the normal shape in two years

would You recommend it also to smaller wave riding or is it more freeride machine? Awesome looking board, btw.

I think it is a very nice board, I have had it in my hands but I did not find it the lightest
I know it is made of double sandwich and I think that is very good! But there could have been saved some weight in the pad anyway half thinner and certainly short on both sides and also the kicker could have been left out.
But again I like the model.

I have a sky free TE 5’3. What would the advantage of this board? Is it even easier to get going in light wind

What is your experience with prone foiling the smaller sizes? Could it be a hybrid wing/prone board?

4:52 "Talking about weight...."
5:11 "The whole technology is way lighter this year."
Be nice if Duotone (and other manufacturers for that matter) would specify the actual weights of their boards

I want a mid lengt. And no hole in the bottom. And it need to work well with small foils and Foil Drive. I have already sold my Sky Free 105L. Not sure if that cut out will help with Foil Drive. The Axis Foil Drive board don’t have any the DC Foil Drive board don’t have any. Only Armstrong have the size I liked.
