I love the reversal of epithets in the lyrics, how the view of an ambitious and unapologetic woman were judged sinful, crazy and ferocious, while Anne herself knew exactly who she was. Free. And that callback in the end to the rhythmic pattern of the first Anne Bonny song, whew!

I'm serious, this along with the song that started it all seems like the perfect fit for a Musical based on the life of the villainous, infamous Anne Bonny. I would pay good money to see this all worked into a musical (if I had the money). Just an older Anne, having actually survived her historical demise, telling her tale to those who will listen, years later.
