Interesting with your recording issue i also found when i recorded the videos all i could find were videos files saved to the app and my files of videos all showing 00:00 as their time..
But some i managed to open them through a movie maker app ive got. And the i exported them and got them saved. 👍

mine won´t take off for some reason it starts the propelers but when it tries to take off it turns itself off, and when it does it does not go up just starts moving randomly and does not follow the controller

Did the camera actually record any videos in the end .brought one for entry level for grandson to learn with great video helped me choose. Just wondering weather you got it to film in the end

To practice flying a drone, the drones from Aliexpress are good and cheap. Because to crash an drone from $30 no one will get harm from that. But the adverticed products are not really what they say it are. I have tested the P18, and it got adverticed it got GPS and 8K camera and a range from 10 kilometers....welll its has no gps at all, and the camera is not bad you can see something but it is maybe 480p at most. 10 kilometers away it for sure is not going to work, it got a wifi transmitter and the RC has just 4.5 volt, so that means at 150m you will lose control for sure. But to learn to fly they are good. You don't want to crash a $1500 DJI drone. So practice and practice till you have the feeling and understanding from drones before you spend that kind of money.

Would love to see you do a video on what all the controls in the app and on the controller do. Instructions are so small its hard for me to even read it.

I bought this drone a while ago and I can't fly it. When I take it up, the drone insists on getting out of control in all directions. I have to keep correcting it using the controller so it doesn't hit something. I don't know if I need to do anything before flying it.

Lots of types very simular to this design and category with different names and specs i got so far. The last one claimed to be capable of a 5km controlled flight distance hehe. I knew it wasnt gonna even come close while i mentioned it to the seller up front that kept saying how good it was and such. But shockingly still was the distance it did fly sort of half under control!!!! I measured max 20mtr and i was flying it in the dutch dunes without any obstacles or signal interfering devices and stuff anywhere close lol. At 21 mtr i hit the rth button and given the command to have a fly away with no control what so ever before crashing 10 meters further! The thing was total crap and the claimed video quality with a shown recording example didnt resemble anything i was seeing in reality lolz!!. Most likely he or they quickly took a phantom to record the drone crap they sell and provide it some nice visuals for in the advert page xDD how far is this drone version of you flies before it hits the distance that starts having issues listening to the given input ???? Seems like a no-brainer for $30 efven though the OA doesn't really do much but as you said IR OA doesn't work well at all outside on a sunny day and it's just a gimmick anyway and not a reason to buy a toy drone.
