It’s taken me so long to truly understand how miserable I am. For a very long time I’ve been abusing my body, wasting my time, ignoring my problems while trying to be there and fix the problems of all of my loved ones. I never realized that my own happiness is important too. As I listened I realized I had forgotten what it was like to cry as I shed the first tears I’ve shed in years. I’ve realized that I have truly ignored myself to make sure everyone else was okay, while neglecting myself and my own wants and needs for my own future. I’m always too tired to go on that run, or to mentally exhausted from work to do that chore. I’m tired of the excuses, it’s about time I take care of myself as much as I take care of my family. I typically don’t share on these types of forums because it creates tension, but I just watched Jordans video where he has been wrestling with the question about a divine character, who transcends all time and space. His Journey has been one of conflict and struggle, and I for one can appreciate his honesty. I don’t know anyone if you here today, but I Hope beyond all Hope that you would take a moment and view that video. If I am being totally transparent, I have not lived my life in many instances like I actually believed in a HIGHER POWER. And I certainly have blown many opportunities to share that HOPE that I have with so many people.
